Ph.D. in African American Studies, with a primary field in English
Class of 2013
Linda Chavers received her PhD in African American Studies and English from Harvard University in 2013. She currently teaches in the Intellectual Heritage Program at Temple University in Philadelphia. Her dissertation, Violent Disruptions: William Faulkner and Richard Wright's Racial Imagination, discusses tropes of the interracial, particularly sexuality and violence, in American literatures.
