Ph.D. in African American Studies, with a primary field in English
Class of 2009
Cameron Leader-Picone is currently Assistant Professor of English at Kansas State University. He has taught in the Harvard Writing Program and at Ithaca College. He is currently working on a book on contemporary African American Literature and the representation of racial identity. The book examines the meaning of African American literature in the context of public discourses on post-racialism, colorblindness, and multiculturalism.
